There's at least a driver for the PCMCIA version, it works fine for me.
In the kernel, the CONFIG_HERMES should make it work, according to the help screen.

On my [d/h]ell Inspiron 5000e it works fine, use PS/2 as protocol.

Cirrus Logic Crystal WDM audio

I don't know this one, but there's support for Crystal Sound CS4281 and Crystal SoundFusion (CS4280/461x). Try googling...
