Anyone using these series of video cards that can give me an overview of supported features under Linux for home desktop use.
I'm considering 8500DV 64MB or the 8500 128MB. I do have a spare firewire card so that part of the "DV" is not that critical. And from http://dri.sourceforge.net/doc/feature_table.html it looks like the 8500 is well supported. What about the other "ALL" features such as capturing TV and such? ATI mentions dual monitors ("HYDRAVISION"). I'm not clear if that card supports dual monitors with Xinerama -- and if so, if both monitors can be analog or if one needs to use DVI input.
