Mirrors and apt

Using Sarge. I'm currently using the uchicago.edu mirror for updates & 
upgrades, however it's almost never available on Saturdays. I have used 
the utility that finds the fastest mirror (netselect, I think). Since 
this system uses a DSL, I don't believe speed is paramount. Can anyone 
recommend a U.S. mirror with plenty of capacity for 24/7 access?

Also, have I read correctly that debian.org is the only security source?
