Using Sarge. I'm currently using the uchicago.edu mirror for updates & upgrades, however it's almost never available on Saturdays. I have used the utility that finds the fastest mirror (netselect, I think). Since this system uses a DSL, I don't believe speed is paramount. Can anyone recommend a U.S. mirror with plenty of capacity for 24/7 access?
Debian.lcs.mit.edu has always been very good to me. I'm not sure if it matters at all that I'm in Boston. I suspect not; I bet your throughput will be quite good anywhere.
I'll give your suggestion a try Saturday. And, yes, throughput is usually good.
