With DGA or XV or DGA via SDL, it depends on the backends supported ("mplayer -vo help" to have a list). If present, you can try with "mplayer -fs -vo sdl something_playable" to start immediately full screen, or without the -fs switch, using the "f" or "c" hotkey to go full screen... Andrea
