Well, I know with sound, I've always wanted to add people to the sound
group who log in on the console and *not* when they're not, that way
anybody who logs in the console can get sound, but remote users don't
disturb anybody within earshot of the console.  Particularly after I
was woken up at 2AM to blaring loud music from my own system when
someone in the audio group thought it would be funny to prank me while
I was asleep..
