Hi, Under Debian, is there a method which allows any user directly logged onto the host and using the host's keyboard and monitor to take ownership of some that host's devices? For example, to change the ownership of /dev/xconsole or /dev/fd0 to be owned by the user currently logged directly onto the host. Then when the user logs off, the ownerships revert to their default values until the next user logs directly on the host. Remote users do not change the device ownership properties.
