I just upgraded my kernel from 2.4.24 to 2.6.6 via custom compilation. I'm having a bit of trouble setting up DHCP. I did a bit of reading and found out that I need to include both CONFIG_PACKET=y and CONFIG_FILTER=y in my .config file before DHCP will work. The trouble is that I can't for the life of me find CONFIG_FILTER in xconfig. Has this code been deprecated or am I missing something?
