I downloaded the newest drivers from nvidia and installed them. As far as I can see, it runs fine. I have a Woody system with the 2.4.18 kernel. Recently I tried to add USB support, but borked my system. I think I have everything working. About the only thing that wasn't working was the nvidia drivers. Should I have apt-get installed them instead? Will there be problems with using something that was not packaged for Debian? Or does using the newer drivers have no effect other than getting the coolest special effects (Quake 3 Arena never looked so nice!). Thanks, Gianfranco
