J'ai fait le tout et maintenant j'ai lorsque je fait sane-find-scanner:

found USB scanner (vendor=0x04b8, product=0x011f) at /dev/usbscanner
found USB scanner (vendor=0x04b8 [EPSON], product=0x011f [EPSON Scanner]) at libusb:001:006
Lorsque je lance Xsane j'ai le choix entre dev/usb/scanner0 et dev/usbscanner. Les deux m'amène à la réponse suivante:
Erreur d'ouverture du périférique "snapscan: dev/usbscanner " argument invalide où Erreur d'ouverture du périférique "snapscan: dev/usb/scanner " argument invalide

dans ton /etc/sane.d/epson.conf
à la fin, tu rajoutes (ou décommentes) la ligne:
usb /dev/usb/scanner0
ensuite turenommes ton /home/user/.sane en /home/user/.sane.old et tu relances sane pour voir si cela fonctionne.
en espérant avoir aidé (sinon je ne vois pas) nono

Je suis en Debain Sarge et la version du kernel est 2.4.27-2-586tsc. J'ai installé Sane pour faire fonctionner un scanneur Epson Perfection 1670. Et le tout refuse de fonctionner.
J'aimerais savoir par quel bout commencer car j'ai essayé sur le site de sane et je ne trouve rien qui m'aide.
