The problem is more basic than that, I can't talk to hosts on my local LAN even when using their IP address (no DNS!). > If it is this bug you could try using a server that doesnt use round > robin DNS, i dont know which ones that is though. In any case, I tried this using archive.progeny.com and the same result -- Host name lookup failure, again this is probably because it can't route packets to the DNS server to resolve the hostname -- not because of any DNS failure.
