Did anyone else have the same problem I'm having? I upgraded to kernel-soource-2.4.22 and now no longer have any virtual consoles (the things you get when you hit ctrl-alt-F1). This wouldn't be that big a deal but it also doesn't show me what it is doing when it starts up which can be bad if it does a disk check, for example.
