Just install a bare minimum system without any additional components and install the rest once the system has been booted. You can perfectly finish the installation even when "Select and install software" has failed, just skip it! These images are using debian-installer in a more or less unsupported environment (relying on unstable instead of testing) and it's simply possible that it will never work the same way as official images do. Please lower your expectations a bit and just accept the image is not perfect. However, it works just perfectly well enough to perform a minimal installation of Debian sparc64, even on a T2000, we have multiple installations on the exact same hardware. And, please, stop installing Debian Wheezy (7.0) because it will be completely out of any form of support (security updates) at the end of April, so you are actually putting your servers and desktops at risk!
