If you want a secure OS you have to work for it and understand what you're doing. Debian is no more secure than Redhat is no more secure than Solaris is no more secure than OpenBSD. We could make a lot of vague generalizations about default setup and what-not but its really just a waste of time. If you don't want to be hacked, learn how to prevent it.
