Hi! Does anybody know why stable/updates/main on http://security.debian.org has a package that depends on a libc that is not available for Stable?
That is there is a new libapache-mod-ssl that depends on libc6 (>= 2.3.1-1) but libc in Stable is at 2.2.5-11.2. 2.3.1-1 is still in unstable. I can only believe somebody made the mistake to package an update for Stable on an Unstable machine, or a machine that had been "contaminated" with Unstable packages that pulled in libc from Unstable. # apt-get -u dist-upgrade Reading Package Lists... This may mean that you have requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable distribution that some required packages have not yet been created or been moved out of Incoming. Since you only requested a single operation it is extremely likely that the package is simply not installable and a bug report against that package should be filed.
