As you can see in that bug report, there already was a bullet transition for the GCC 5 / libstdc++6 breaks. The problem is that openmw 0.36.1-1+b2 was built against bullet 2.83.5+dfsg-2, but upgrading bullet to 2.83.6+dfsg-1 breaks openmw. That means bullet broke the ABI and needs a transition.
