This transition has been stuck for a while.
I have checked into the packages still build-depending on Boost 1.49, and summarized my findings in #734195. The good news is that there is no longer any impediment to removing Boost 1.49. That leaves two Boost versions 1.54 and 1.55, which made me realize that the transition tracker is too pessimistic. Right now 1.54 is considered "bad", but it shouldn't be. So I suggest to change the tracker to: Good: .depends ~ /libboost[a-z-]*1\.5[45]/ Bad: .depends ~ /libboost[a-z-]*1\.(4[6-9]|5[0-3])/ Regards, -Steve -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-release-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
