Indeed, I totally fucked up this one. Apparently, there was a “wheezy” branch in svn which I was supposed to use but did not. The changes that sled in were: • the “| php5-mysqlnd” dependency (#689758) • bz29635.patch (fixes cases where database upgrades fail) ‣ https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=29635 • two hunks of fix_invalid_xhtml.patch (ensures 2 out of 3 places that need the change have all <img/> tags always have an alt="…" attribute; the third one was not yet committed: https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=40889 has a link to an upstream commit for that) Apparently, because the latter was WIP/incomplete, I had not added debian/changelog entries, which led to my later oversight. I should have used svn log. If there is demand, I will upload a -2 reverting all of these changes, although I consider the bz29635.patch important enough for inclusion for PostgreSQL users. If that is requested, please say so. (Apparently, the -1 upload made it into testing in the meantime.) I learned from this to never assume debian/changelog is up to date in a “trunk” and will try to not repeat this mistake.
