Actually, Slovenia joined the Eurozone 2 years ago (1/1/2007); etch was already frozen at that time so that might explain it...
Meanwhile, Cyprus and Malta joined (1/1/2008). I just checked both el_CY.UTF-8 and mt_MT.UTF-8 and the former results to £ (symbol for the Cypriot lira) while the latter results to Lm (symbol for the Maltese lira). The checks were done on an up-to-date etch system, libc/locales-all version 2.3.6.ds1-13etch8 using: LC_ALL=el_CY.UTF-8 \ perl -MPOSIX=localeconv \ -e 'print localeconv()->{currency_symbol}, "\n"' Thanks, Faidon -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-release-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
