Ben file:
title = "spdlog";
is_affected = .depends ~ "libspdlog1.12" | .depends ~ "libspdlog1.15";
is_good = .depends ~ "libspdlog1.15";
is_bad = .depends ~ "libspdlog1.12";
The soversion of libspdlog is now bumped to 1.15. A transition is needed,
after which we can start the libfmt10 -> libfmt11 transition.
aron has run ratt against 1:1.15.0+ds-1~exp1, most dependencies are good.
There are two failures, sopt and purify, both of which seem trivially
fixable. I will submit bugs against them soon.
Thanks,
Shengqi Chen

Hi,
From: Emilio Pozuelo Monfort <poch...@gmail.com> On Behalf Of Emilio
Nothing depends on the library package (at least not in testing), so I'm closing
the transition bug as there's little for us to do. Feel free to upload at will,
given one of those two bugs is already fixed and the other is trivial.
spdlog can be used in a header-only manner, so it's expected the shared library
has not so many reverse dependencies.
I have uploaded 1.15.0+ds-1 to unstable. And fmtlib transition would follow.
And just in case for anyone reading this, libspdlog1.12 has Provides:
libspdlog1.12-fmt10,
and libspdlog1.15 has Provides: libspdlog1.15-fmt10.
Right, I had forgotten about the provides in spdlog. That's why there are no
rdeps on libspdlog1.12, packages depend on libspdlog1.12-fmt10 instead. That's
also why there's no automatic transition tracker. I have added a tracker now,
and we'll schedule rebuilds for rdeps when spdlog has been built.
The transition is finished, closing.
Cheers,
Emilio
