Hi,

I'd like to update the version of bup in bookworm from 0.33.2-1~deb12u1
to 0.33.7-1~deb12u1. Effectively this would be a backport of unstable's
0.33.7-1 to bookworm, and would import the upstream stable bug fix
releases 0.33.3, 0.33.4, 0.33.5, 0.33.6, and 0.33.7.

Since bup is a backup system, it has an extensive test suite that is run
by upstream's CI on multiple platforms, and by the Debian buildd's when
a new Debian release is uploaded. This reduces the risk of regressions.

Some of the bug fixes are fairly minor and may not necessarily justify
producing a stable update, but there were some serious data loss bugs
(https://bugs.debian.org/1086123) that were fixed in the 0.33.5 release
that still affect users of stable who may have used the "bup gc" or "bup
get" subcommands. I would prefer to take upstream's 0.33.7 release as-is
rather than trying to identify and backport the relevant commits (and
deciding which of the other bug fixes to include), or leaving stable
users vulnerable to the unfixed data loss bugs.

Some additional details and diagrams regarding the data loss bug fixes
are available here: https://bup.github.io/issue/missing-objects.html.

The upstream release notes covering these releases are available here:
