I have removed some of those packages (mostly horde and a couple others).

Thanks, the excuse view looks a lot more manageable now.

However at least libphp-swiftmailer can't be removed currently. symfony depends on php-monolog which depends on libphp-swiftmailer.

Damn, I missed this one. libphp-swiftmailer should really go away (as per #1085113), and php-monolog 3 (that doesn’t build-depend on libphp-swiftmailer) should really be moved from experimental to unstable, but it lags behind the PHPUnit 11 transition (#1084894), so in the mean time, I just uploaded libphp-swiftmailer 6.3.0-7 fixing #1089724.

Also there's a chain in php-opis-closure -> php-zumba-json-serializer -> phpmyadmin-sql-parser -> phpmyadmin.

I’ve noticed activity on #1082460 after your mail, thanks to William and Robin who are working on it.

So those need to be looked at, alongside the applications (mediawiki, phpmyadmin, etc).
Regards,

taffit
