Right. I have just uploaded a new package for mediawiki1.7 (-9) that fixes a security issue as published in the current 1.7.3 upstream release. Since -6 I have removed the symlink, added a README and added two deconf translations. You may consider this package as an update candidate for mediawiki1.7 Romain
