Hi all, actually, upstream already has a patch for this: https://git.reviewboard.kde.org/r/111227/ However, it will be included only for KDE 4.12. Maybe you could consider backporting it for 4.11 so that Kopete users do not have to live without OTR support for almost a year? I am very happy to help with this, if possible - especially in the light of the recent news, I consider OTR support a very important feature. (Actually, it I wasn't able to run my self-compiled Kopete (using the old libotr2), I would have switched the IM client to get OTR back.)
