This can be used to e.g. let the user pick an specific type of icon. Currently used contexts are: Actions, Applications, Devices, FileSystems, MimeTypes. KDE gives the following warning about it: kdecore (KIconLoader): WARNING: Icon directory /usr/share/icons/hicolor/ group 48x48/stock/text not valid. I don't understand either what the idea is behind the stock icons.
