It's been a while since I last looked at it. TBH, the current implementation is rather forcefully squished into mole, and should rather be rewritten than messed up even more. The new vcswatch worker based on a PostgreSQL backend works rather nicely, that shouldn't be much effort to be adapted. I'll look into that, but I'd rather not promise an ETA.
