How many patches does Debian get from Ubuntu [1]? How many from those other derivatives? Since I am involved in both Debian and Ubuntu, I won't give an official opinion about whether we should add (optional) pointers to Ubuntu bugs in the DDPO. We should just consider with which derivatives we actually maintain a close collaboration, and which are never heard of in the BTS. I know many DDs who work well with the Ubuntu devs, thus if it helps a considerable number of DDs, and is opt-in, and someone wants to do the work, why stop them?
