I have used addgroup to create a group "foo" with GID 100000 and adduser to create a user "bar" with UID 100000 in group "foo". I can start the xserver but now several programs complain about illegal GID/UID. Same for courier-mta and courier-imap using authpam Thanks, Greetings and nice Day Michelle Konzack -- Linux-User #280138 with the Linux Counter, http://counter.li.org/ ##################### Debian GNU/Linux Consultant ##################### Michelle Konzack Apt. 917 ICQ #328449886 50, rue de Soultz MSM LinuxMichi 0033/6/61925193 67100 Strasbourg/France IRC #Debian (irc.icq.com)
