It is my opinion that upstream is rather conservative with version numbers, and MHonArc 2.5.0b2 is of acceptable quality. I'm currently using 2.5.0b2 at mail-archive.com and have it processing ~15,000 messages a day. No known problems thus far. I think Debian can very reasonably go either way; package 2.5.0b2 or wait for 2.5.0. I guesstimate Earl will release 2.5.0 before 2002. -Jeff
