  Quoted from the website "v2.5.0b2 is available. This is the beta 2 release of
  v2.5".

  I don't see the problem in waiting a bit for the final release. The reason why
  I object to shipping beta versions in Debian is that it leads to receiving
  a flood of bugs reports for something which is known to be still bugged.

  People willing to play with beta versions can download the tarballs.
