where $mansuffix should be 1.gz in most cases ...
It should be ...
update-alternatives --install /usr/bin/pslpr pslpr /usr/bin/npslpr 30 \
--slave /usr/share/man/man1/pslpr.$mansuffix pslpr.$mansuffix \
/usr/share/man/man1/npslpr.$mansuffix
Otherwise this leaves a hanging symlink /usr/man/man1/pslpr.1 ...
