Yes I know, I'm taking care of this package for some months now (I
didn't put myself as the maintainer as I was not planning to do this in
the long run, may be I should do it after all...).

Isn't this patch only needed for the translation of the syscalls, and
not the normal operations of the applications linking against libaudit?
