I don't think we are much more for Java: Debian has very few Java modules, 
except the Java virtual machines and the compilers. Note that some Java 
packagers are not Java fans, they just package something they want, they can 
even not be subscribed to debian-java and that's one of the reasons for a 
formal policy: it helps the newbie packager.
