If anything, it's unreasonably *low*. That's a fourth of the fair market wage for a contractor with those qualifications in the United States (and before someone points out that one could hire someone for a lower wage in a different market, please look at what country dunc-tank has funds in and look at what the feasibility would be of moving them between national jurisdictions; that sort of thing is frequently extremely complex). To compare to other free software projects, the value cited is comparable to what the FSF was offering for *salary* (which is generally lower than contractor pay due to benefit issues and social security taxes) for a sysadmin, which is a less skilled position.
