Good idea regarding a baseline and to have a general idea what users have hardware wise.
On my end: For PPC64le, IBM Power 8 Model 8284-22A. For PPC64, IBM Power 710 All with Connectx-4 lx (Ethernet) and Connectx3 VPI (infiniband) cards It may be a good idea to ask SPARC users as well.
