You may want to try Netsurf (https://packages.debian.org/sid/netsurf-gtk), depending on what you do it may work better thank links2. Have you tried Epiphany (https://packages.debian.org/sid/epiphany-browser)? I have not managed to make it work, and would be interested in knowing if it works in your configuration with an ATI card.
