Well, that's not a beige G3 but an iMac which is newer.

I want to emulate it with qemu before installing Debian on it. Perhaps I should
use another option ?
Try changing the emulation to a newer machine type such as the iMac.
Indeed, I must use -M mac99 option. I'm trying another installation...
