An USB airport adapter? Do you mean wifi adapter? Sorry, its a wifi usb adapter... the disadvantage that it occupies a USB and little aesthetic, but functional, check the realtek wifi chipset and buy the correct for GNU/Linux The chipset are: RT8187B and RTL8187L (the last works great I have one, and works with Mac OSX 10.3, also for not install a big OSX).
