AU> AU> > Thanks, AU> > /Bob Fundamentally the problem with iBooks and recent Xorg versions is that the current Xorg relies on auto-detecting monitor capabilities, and the iBook hardware doesn't return that info properly. A general (if annoying) fix is to keep an oldish live-CD that is known to work, boot that and copy the xorg.conf to a pendrive, then use that xorg.conf.
