I know. That's why I'm confused. My HorizSync and VertRefresh rates are from when I was using Debian, which worked perfectly for 1024x768. I figure the old qt looks are just the gnome theme. I attached a photo showing the large horizontal lines that remind me of older qt. Problem is all I have is System->Administration->Login Window, with no other administration items like 'Themes' to change.
