The one I have (BCM4306) works with linux-2.6.18 in my Ibook G4. I didn't manage it to work using the firmware-cutter utility, I had to download the firmware to make it work (http://au.ubuntu.cafuego.net/pool/edgy-cafuego/bcm43xx/bcm43xx-firmware_1.3-1ubuntu2_all.deb)
FYI, it works here with firmware-cutter(with bcm4306) ;-) Thanks anyway. -- William
