My advice too. 32 MB is not usable with modern apps, but should be enough for the X server (especially when running at 16 bpp). I don't know the current status of ltsp when it comes to nfs-root at powerpc, but if powerpc is not supported, then boot from local disk and start X from local disk with X -query <ip.of.server> That, and configuring a server to accept xdmcp connections (e.g. gdm), is a very easy thing to do, compared to setting up disk-less thin clients mounting / over nfs.
