The only alternative is to find truckloads of cash, and then convince macromedia (now bought by adobe) to do a powerpc/linux build of it. Now, with apple leaving the powerpc market, this is even less likely to happen. So, if you are disatisfied with the powerpc/flash situation, get beyond one of the free flash projects.
