Hi all, I've compiled 2.6.5-rc2. The kernel is running stable. Well, there is a small problem: It is not possible to unload ehci_hcd. Neither with rmmod nor with rmmod -f. The usb ports are all unplugged. So stopping or rebooting the machine hangs while unloading the module:
ehci_hcd 0001:01:1b.2: remove, state 1 usb usb4: USB disconnect, address 1 I have to to a hard reset because ssh is already stopped in that state. $ dpkg -l hotplug ii hotplug 0.0.20040311-9 Linux Hotplug Scripts With 2.6.4 there are no probs at all. Any hints? Elimar -- Do you smell something burning or ist it me?
