You could try the vmlinuz-2.4.22-install that is found at : http://people.debian.org/~luther/pegasos/2.4.22. It doesn't really is a chrp kernel, it was built for the pegasos, which is of chrp/pop lineage. But it does include the rootdisk in an initrd. It is not really the chrp initrd, but almost. The main difference is that you have parted or amiga-fdisk in place of ddisk, so maybe it would not work out for you, but if the rest of it works, i would be glad to build you an initrd enabled kernel. kernels+initrd are very nice to install debian. You only need one file, you boot it, and then you can do a full network install with them, or even install from the woody CD-ROMs. Friendly, Sven Luther
