My (bad) experience with ibook2 (with M6 LY) and dri : I follow the path of Jesus (Climent :-) to make dri work :
_ install of xserver-xfree86-dri-trunk from http://penguinppc.org/~daenzer/debian/dri-trunk/ _ compilation of drm modules from drm-trunk-modules-src (from the same source) _ my kernel is the latest benh's : 2.4.20-pre7-ben0 _ load agpgart then radeon The adequate portion of my /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 : Section "Device" Identifier "radeon mobility" Driver "radeon" Option "AGPMode" "1" Option "UseFBDev" "true" BusID "PCI:00:16:00" EndSection _Everything seems OK in the log (drm and agp loaded and ok) _glxinfo says DRI is loaded BUT glxgears freezes the dawn ibook :-( What did I wrong ?
