After compiling the radeon modules from the drm-trunk-modules-src: cd /usr/src/modules/drm-trunk make -f Makefile.linux TREE=/usr/src/benh_kernel/include/ /etc/init.d/gdm stop rmmod radeon insmod radeon.o It loads the 1.5.(?) module. restarting gdm freezes my system, and only a hard reboot will save it from that status. Of course i synced the kernel tree, recompiled and booted with it: uname -a shows a nice 2.4.20-pre7-ben0 and the Xserver was upgraded yesterday to the dri-trunk versioned 2002-09-05-1 TIA -- Jesus Climent | Unix System Admin | Helsinki, Finland. web: www.hispalinux.es/~data/ | pumuki.hispalinux.es ------------------------------------------------------ Please, encrypt mail sent to me: GnuPG ID: 86946D69 FP: BB64 2339 1CAA 7064 E429 7E18 66FC 1D7F 8694 6D69 ------------------------------------------------------ Registered Linux user #66350 Debian 3.0 & Linux 2.4.20 We seem to be made to suffer.
