I just grabbed linux-2.4.19-pre8-ben0 and suddenly all timout messages
are gone, with or without rate limitting from the router.  Then again,
there are changelog entries talking about makeing RX and TX errors
quieter (so they might still be happening, just not showing since I
didn't set debug).
