Thanks for the reply, unfortunately the ac adapter to my powerbook busted over this weekend, so I haven't been able to try anything yet. Because of the recent recall on Apple powerbook adapters, it has been hard for me to find a replacement. It seems that Apple has bought up all of the good adapters (the circular ones) that they could find and now the market is 500,000 units short of these. I couldn't even get one direct from apple. Fortunately, I found one (the last one from the powerbookguy) and it is on its way, so I'll be back in business then. Thanks again for the response. -Kevin
