the long ugly names are a big part of it. also the lack of persistence sucks as well. i must be able to use chmod/chown on /dev/* files and have it stick, without stupid kludges like tarring /dev and restoring at boot, or running some silly daemon as root to fsck with them. -- Ethan Benson http://www.alaska.net/~erbenson/
